Ordinary people are facing crisis after crisis that we didn’t cause. But it doesn’t have be like this.

No matter who we are all of us want and deserve the same things – safe and affordable homes, better services, secure jobs and higher wages. But instead, it’s our jobs and services that are cut back and our wages eaten up by the costs of keeping a roof over our heads.

In the workplace, trade unions bring workers together to fight and win. In our communities, ACORN brings people from all walks of life together to do the same on the issues that matter to us. 

We’re a community union, made up of ordinary people – parents, workers, retirees, renters – uniting to decide what is to be done and getting organised to win it ourselves. We’re fighting together for a fair go and to make real change for our members and communities.

On your own it might seem impossible to take on the people with power and make real change happen. But there's strength in numbers. When we stand and fight together – we can win!
